Meet Blake Shelton's fiddler and CMA's Musician of the Year, Jenee Fleenor

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Jenee Fleenor, long time country music fiddler took a break from her tour with Blake Shelton to speak with Eyewitness News today.

She's in Bakersfield, along side the rest of the performers of the 'Friends and Hereoes Tour,' that's set to play Thursday night at Mechanics Bank Arena. Fleenor has played the fiddle on a countless number of hit songs by John Pardi, Blake Shelton, and Steven Tyler. She is also a part of 'The Voice' house band. In 2019 she was honored with the Country Music Association's Musician of the Year award, and made history as the first woman to receive the title.

She is currently working on solo music and hopes to inspire young girls to follow in her footsteps.
